Fuel is an energy source that produces power. For the human body this could be the sun, or it could be nourishing food. Let's discuss food.

Taking two hours per day to plan, purchase ingredients for, prepare and then eat meals is just a great idea. If you plan properly, it can work easily. If food consumption is important to you and your family, then two hours per day or 14 hours a week is time well invested.

I usually purchase a week's worth of food every Tuesday. I order out for one meal and I eat out for one meal, each week. All other meals are generated from my kitchen. I eat four to five meals per day, so that is over 30 meals per week. Because I have two hours everyday dedicated to meals and snacks, I never feel like I am compromising or cheating myself. I always have exactly what I need when I am hungry.

Conveniences are truly only convenient if the results you obtain are equal to or better than the trade-off. Fast food is not convenient. If it saves you some time, but it is greasy and calorie-high, then you will use that "time-saved" to make-up for the poor choice. Becoming ill or needing to burn more calories will take far more time than the time the fast food company bestowed upon you.

My technique for fueling my body is very practical, inexpensive, healthy and delicious.
